Dark visions. The reviewer of the watchmen movie strongly disliked the film.  He thought the movie was very lengthy and dragged on for far to long.  He thought there were far too many chacarters which made it impossible to focus on one main story line.  He felt that the films attempt at political satire was poor and left a lot to be desired.  To quote his oppinion on Dr. Manhattahn "

Last and hugest is Dr. Manhattan (Billy Crudup), who is buff, buck naked, and blue, like a porn star left overnight in a meat locker."

Syriana review of the movie. Syriana is a fantastically complex movie that shows congress working to reform oil companies. The movie shows the corrupt pil companies and congressmen also the bribery involved in the oil reforms. The movie also is about how congress can debate for hours upon hoours and get no closer to a decision. The movie was easy to follow with easy to recognize characters. There is a bisas but there are easily to define good guys and bad guys.

Poem analysis

Collins is describing growing up in the poem, he is showing that growing up is a horrible thing for a kid because they lose their youthfulness and the imagination that makes childhood a great thing. Growing up makes you lose the views of the world that make it a wonderful and amazing thing, and you start to see the things that are wrong with the world shown by him saying "If you cut me I could shine.
But now when I fall upon the sidewalks of life, I skin my knees. I bleed". Collins captures childhood in the way of what the child pretended to be each year being different things and just having fun. The effectiveness of the poem comes from how relateable the childhood is to many of our own. This childhood fits many children that I grew up with it fits mine as well.

Definitions

Beauty-Is determined by the way the media moves it.
Denial-Is refusing to acknowledge the truth, and moral disapproval.
Evil-Doing things only to help yourself and not benefit othwers

Definition questions

1) The fresh idea in the essay is the generosity and not being beholden to people.
2)I would have defined it as a baseball team and the pinnacale of the MLB
3)Similar ideas could be americans or patriots.
4)The allusions did add to the definition because I understood the allusions. If you didn't understand the allusions then it wouldn't help the story.
5) the essay use similies, examples, and stories to help develop the essay.
6) The writer spend a good amount of time on the dictionary definition before moving on to the bigger definition.
